EDC Bunker Marketplace Rules

The EDC Bunker Marketplace is a member-to-member venue. EDC Bunker is not a party to transactions between members.

1. Marketplace eligibility

Marketplace posting privileges may require minimum account age, meaningful forum participation, good standing, or membership in an approved Marketplace user group. Attempts to artificially inflate post counts may result in delayed or revoked access.

2. Legal eligibility

You may only buy, sell, trade, ship, receive, or possess an item when doing so is lawful for you and the other party. Members are responsible for applicable federal, state, local, shipping, age, import/export, and other restrictions.

3. Prohibited items

Do not list stolen property, counterfeit goods, illegal drugs, controlled substances, explosives, illegal weapons, illegally modified items, fraudulent documents, malware, stolen accounts, infringing goods, or anything that cannot lawfully be possessed, sold, transferred, or shipped.

4. Accurate listings

Listings must honestly describe the actual item, including condition, material defects, modifications, accessories, asking price, shipping terms, and payment expectations.

5. Photographs

Use photographs of the actual item whenever reasonably possible. Do not use another seller's photographs without permission. Staff may request timestamped or additional verification images.

6. Pricing and thread conduct

Sellers generally set their own asking prices. Do not harass sellers or repeatedly disrupt listings over price. Reasonable questions and offers are permitted.

7. Duplicate listings

Do not create duplicate listings for the same item. Update or close previous listings when an item is relisted.

8. Payment

Buyers and sellers are responsible for choosing payment methods and understanding their protections and risks. Do not misclassify transactions in violation of payment-provider rules.

9. Shipping

Sellers are responsible for proper packaging and lawful shipping. Tracking is strongly recommended. Agree on shipping cost, insurance, signature confirmation, and delivery terms before payment.

10. Communication

Keep transaction communication clear and professional. Respond within a reasonable time and promptly communicate delays or changes.

11. Completed transactions

Mark listings SOLD, TRADED, or WITHDRAWN when appropriate. Do not remove transaction history to conceal a dispute or problem.

12. Feedback

Feedback must reflect genuine transactions or attempted transactions. Fake, traded, coerced, retaliatory, or alternate-account feedback is prohibited.

13. Scams and suspicious activity

Report suspicious behavior immediately. Warning signs can include reused photographs, refusal to verify an item, payment to unrelated third parties, unusual urgency, or requests designed to defeat normal buyer/seller protections.

14. Commercial sellers

The member Marketplace is primarily for personal transactions. Businesses, dealers, manufacturers, professional resellers, or high-volume sellers may require separate approval or vendor status.

15. Giveaways, raffles, and contests

Giveaways, raffles, drawings, and similar promotions require prior staff approval and must comply with applicable law.

16. Disputes

Members should first attempt to resolve ordinary transaction issues directly. Serious unresolved issues should be reported to staff with the listing URL, usernames, relevant communication, shipping information, and appropriately redacted payment evidence.

17. EDC Bunker is not the seller

EDC Bunker does not own, inspect, authenticate, guarantee, insure, or endorse member-listed items. Transactions are directly between buyer and seller and are conducted at the participants' own risk.

18. Enforcement

Marketplace access may be restricted or removed for fraud, dishonesty, repeated transaction problems, prohibited items, feedback manipulation, failure to complete transactions, or conduct creating unreasonable risk to other members.

19. Use good judgment

Research the other member, verify expensive items, use appropriate payment protection, and treat unusually favorable offers cautiously.
